This Law includes:
• Definitions of words and phrases mentioned in this Law.
• Persons who are licensed to practice banking business.
• Conditions of granting licenses to practice banking business
• A bank must keep not less than 15% statutory deposit of its total deposits at all times
• Prohibited practices for any bank.
• Prohibited practices for any bank except by obtaining written license from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency
• Members of banks’ Board of Directors and auditors.
• Issues on which the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency may impose general rules to organize them, after getting the approval of the Minister of Finance and National Economy
• The Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency inspection of the records and accounts of any bank.
• Procedures that the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency may take if a bank violated this Law.
• Penalties.
