This Law includes:
Formation of the Council and its term in office.
The Council responsibilities:
• Making decisions concerning all affairs of petroleum, gas and other hydrocarbon materials.
• Drafting the general policy of the Saudi Aramco.
• Making decisions concerning all matters of petroleum investments
• Studying projects of the international conventions on petroleum, gas and minerals fields
• Studying and acknowledging the general policies, agreements, and contracts of mining without violating the Law of Mining
• Provisions for holding the Council's meetings and decisions
• Headquarters of the Council's secretariat.
• Financial affairs.
